The 1998 Prickles the Hedgehog is a Ty Beanie Baby that was released on January 1, 1999

and retired on December 23, 1999. His birthday is February 19, 1998.

Prickles is a light brown hedgehog with black button eyes, a black nose,

and dark brown material on his back to resemble his prickles.

Some versions of Prickles have rare tag errors, such as a misspelling of “Gosport” as “Gasport” on the hang tag etc.

Collectors often seek out rare versions, especially those with tag errors or filled with PVC pellets, which can increase their value.

What makes this Beanie Baby particularly valuable are the errors found on its tags.
