*The 1998 Ewey the Lamb is a Ty Beanie Baby that was released on March 1, 1998, and later retired on July 19, 1999.

There are two variations of Ewey—one with a smiling face and another with a frowning expression.

**NOTE!!! (The Frowning-Lamb Version Is Considered Rarer!!!)

Some versions of Ewey have errors on their tags, making them more valuable to collectors. These errors include:

1. Misspelled location: “Gasport, Hampshire” instead of “Gosport, Hampshire”.
2. Tag inconsistencies: The swing tag shows a birthdate of 1998, while the tush tag reads 1999.
3. No inspection stamp inside the tush tag.

**Ewey is a white woolly lamb with a peach-colored face, ears, and hooves.**

*Retired Beanie Babies often became more valuable due to their limited availability.
