*The 1999 Millennium 2000 Bear is a retired Ty Beanie Baby that was released on January 1, 1999,

and retired later that year on November 12. This fuchsia-colored bear features a golden ribbon around

its neck and an embroidered Earth design with the number “2000” on its chest. 

It was part of the Platinum Collection and is known for several tag errors, such as the misspelling of “Millennium” as “Millenium“.

Despite these errors, the bear was widely produced, making it less rare than some collectors might believe.
