*The 1996 Curly the Bear is a Ty Beanie Baby that was released on June 15, 1996, with a birthday of April 12, 1996.

It was retired on December 31, 1998. Curly is made from a gnarled brown material and features black button eyes

and a larger black button nose. It also wears a dark red ribbon tied around its neck.
