*The 1999 Signature Bear is a rare and retired Ty Beanie Baby that was released on January 1, 1999,

and retired on December 23, 1999. It features a brown plush material with white flecks, black button eyes,

and a black button nose. A deep red ribbon is tied around its neck, and a red heart with “1999” and Ty’s signature is stitched on its chest.

One notable rarity is the swing tag error, where “Gasport, Hampshire” was mistakenly printed instead of “Gosport, Hampshire”.

This error was corrected after only three months of production.
