*The 1997 Iggy Beanie Baby is a rare collectible with unique features and errors that make it highly sought after.

This version is a Ty Dyed Iguana Without A Tongue, and it was retired on August 12, 1997.

It has a swing tag attached to “The Front Left Foot” and a Tush Tag Error!—“There’s no inspection stamp inside the tush tag”.

Iggy also has a poem on its tag that describes its carefree lifestyle.

Interestingly, there was confusion during production between Iggy and Rainbow,

leading to some Iggy Beanie Babies having Rainbow tags and vice versa.

Collectors often seek these unique variations for their collections

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
It appears the Ty production teams were confused about the difference
between chameleons and iguanas. That resulted in the production of Rainbow and Iggy
(style 4038) with similar appearances but incorrect names
Collectors are sometimes confused by iguana versions of Rainbow and chameleon versions of Iggy,
but at the times they were produced, they were intentionally produced that way.
