In the 2010 Hot Wheels Delivery: Slick Rides series, slot 3 is the ’55 Chevy Panel (Goodyear deco) and slot 30 is Double Demon Delivery (Kendall Oil decals). An error example has surfaced where a ’55 Chevy Panel casting is carded as #3, but sports the Double Demon tampo and artwork meant for slot 30.

How to Identify the “Error Variant”

• Confirm the casting
  • It should be the ’55 Chevy Panel metal body (smooth roof, sliding rear door).
• Inspect the tampo and card front
  • Slot # on the bubble card reads “3.”
  • Artwork and side graphics show “Double Demon Delivery” with Kendall Oil logos (normally slot 30).
• Check the card back
  • Base codes (e.g., R3749 for Double Demon) should match slot 30’s production code, not the Panel’s R3729.
• Wheel type and country of origin
  • Double Demon uses Lake Disc wheels (MD) and is made in Thailand; the genuine Panel #3 uses GoodYear white-letter Real Riders.

Why It’s Considered an Error:

• Mattel prints bubble cards in numbered series. A mismatch of number, casting and tampo indicates a packaging mistake.
• No official Mattel acknowledgement, but multiple collector‐forum reports confirm this factory carding mix-up is genuine rather than an aftermarket hack.
