*Brakedown is part of the Transformers Cybertron Toyline that is getting reissued as part of the Transformers Universe 25th Anniversary Toyline. Brakedown was part of the Speed Planet. He is an older Autobot who has retired from racing on Speed Planet. He is training his apprentice Clocker to learn the way of Speed Planet.

*There was a time when BRAKEDOWN was the greatest racer in the galaxy, but that time is long past. Now, he devotes himself to training the next generation of super speedsters. His knowledge of the Great Race on the Speed Planet is second to none; there’s not a micrometer of the route he doesn’t know as well as his own intercooler. He may be old, and his engine might be outdated, but even now there are very few racers that can keep up with him.
